Woodworking Show January 8-10 2010 Maryland State Fair Cow Palace 2200 York Road Timonium Maryland 21093 The School at Annapolis Woodworks once again will be participating in this woodworking weekend extravaganza. This year we'll be doing steam-bending and sharpening demonstrations throughout the weekend. There will be a raffle for a Delta Unisaw, free giveaways from many tool vendors, demonstrations and seminars all under one roof. Hope to see you there!
Hands-On History Day for Kids! March 13-14, 2010 Montpelier Mansion 10am - 2pm 9650 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, MD 20708 Be a woodturners's apprentice! Work in a woodturner's shop and help make chairs the old-fashioned way. You'll see chairs being made on a foot-powered treadle lathe, then you get to sand and polish the spindles and weave the seats. You'll get your very own apprentice's contract that you'll fill out yourself with a quill pen and ink!

October 2010 Kinder Farm Park 10am - 4pm 1001 Kinder Farm Park Road Millersville, MD 21108 A day packed with fun, entertainment and educational activities including scarecrow making, woodturning demonstrations, pumpkin painting, pony rides, children's crafts and games, antique tractors, blacksmithing demonstrations, farm animal displays, music and plenty of food.
